Hard on the heels of the duo's 1991 Japanese tour, a mad scramble to assemble equipment and work visas culminates in a one-off Stewart / Gaskin appearance at the Cyberarts technological arts conference organised by Keyboard magazine, USA. "We almost didn't make it," says Dave, "the US embassy in London kept us waiting around for our visas on the day of the flight and we barely made the plane. Our gear was held up in customs coming back from Japan, so the Keyboard staff hired and borrowed a whole set of stage equipment for us. They did a great job - we had a short technical rehearsal and it all worked fine. It was a lot of work for one fairly short concert, but I wouldn't have missed it for the world."
